2011 Meadow - Commissioned Place, Space and Identity and funded by Arts Council England - a site-specific work made with dancer and non-dancers. Through the constructing and dismantling of ideas based upon relocation, mapping, building, changing and re-finding, the group reflects the beauty of individuality alongside the necessity of group support.
2008/09 The Space Outside (installation) - performed in London, Brussels & Lithuania
Drawing associations between my current bodily habits and where they may have began, it became clear to me that a lot of my bodily behaviour, was a result of exterior demands or as I saw it ‘authority’ placed on my body – the authority of the city: roads, buildings, noise pollution, traffic lights, space (lack of it), and on the smaller picture (but of considerable impact to the body), I discovered how much the common chair influences the structure of the body. The distraction of our day-to-day demands allows for us to ignore our body and the ‘authority’ of the environment, begins to show over time.
